MedicalMet's July and August 2026 product update focuses on the money side of running a clinic. Co-treatment billing, practitioner salary schemes and material usage tracking give you a truer picture of who earned what and what each treatment really costs. Inventory gains AI Smart Inventory and purchase orders. Treatment notes gain MM Studio for working with clinical photos. Clinic owners can get a daily sales summary on WhatsApp, and both mobile apps took a big step forward. Here is what went live over the two months.

How Does Co-Treatment Billing Work in MedicalMet?
Plenty of visits involve more than one practitioner. A physiotherapist and a chiropractor share a session. A doctor performs a procedure while a therapist handles the follow-up. Until now, the invoice credited one person, and someone had to split the numbers by hand at month end.
With Co-Treatment Services and payment at invoice item level, MedicalMet now records who actually delivered each part of a visit. Revenue and commission land with the right practitioner, and your invoices and reports stay in step with what happened in the treatment room — no month-end spreadsheet required.
Practitioner Salary Schemes and Salary Reports
Salary schemes now sit alongside your existing commission plans. Set them up once for each practitioner, then use the new Practitioner Salary report to see what each person earned for the period, based on real collections.
Material Usage Tracking and Lab Cases
Many treatments use stock that never appears on the patient's bill — needles, gels, tapes, dental materials and aesthetic consumables. With material usage tracking, you can now record materials against each visit and review them in the Material Usage report, so you know the true cost of every service. Clinics that send work to outside labs also get a new Lab Cases module to keep track of those cases and what they cost.

Can Clinic Software Tell You What to Reorder?
Running out of a fast-moving medicine on a busy Saturday costs you patients. Overstocking ties up cash and leaves you with expired stock. In August we released AI Smart Inventory and Purchase Orders to take the guesswork out of reordering:

- Bulk stock adjustment — update many products or batches at once after a stock count.

Purchase Orders Start Switched Off
Not every clinic needs purchase orders, so the module is off by default to keep your menus simple. When you are ready, turn it on under Settings — your products and suppliers are already in place.
MM Studio: Measure and Annotate Clinical Photos
MM Studio is the upgraded drawing tool inside treatment notes. You can now annotate clinical photos and take measurements directly on the image.
That matters for practices that track physical change over time. A physiotherapist can document posture and range of motion. A chiropractor can mark alignment. A wound-care or aesthetic clinic can record how a lesion changes from visit to visit. We built MM Studio with input from clinics in Singapore that needed exactly this, and it is now available to every MedicalMet clinic.

Daily Sales Reports on WhatsApp for Clinic Owners
Multi-branch owners told us they did not want to log in every evening just to check the day's takings. Clinics on the new WhatsApp Advance tier now get a short end-of-day sales summary across all branches on WhatsApp, with more detail by email. It is built for higher-volume clinics — your account manager can tell you whether it suits yours.
Reminders improved for everyone else too. Email reminders now carry your clinic's branding, WhatsApp reminder templates are more flexible, and invoices, receipts and package slips can be emailed to patients automatically. See WhatsApp reminders for the full picture.
What's New in the MedicalMet Mobile Apps?
Patient App: Family Profiles and a DICOM Viewer
The MedicalMet patient app now lets one account manage the whole family. Patients can view records, invoices, receipts, letters and X-rays for each family member, and open their scans in a built-in DICOM viewer when their clinic uses our radiology module.
MedicalMet BIZ: Branch Switching and a Full Dashboard
MedicalMet BIZ, the staff app we launched in July, had a busy first two months:
- Branch switching for clinics with several locations
- Drag-and-drop rescheduling
- A dashboard with key numbers, stock alerts and the message board
- Multi-practitioner schedule views, optimised for iPad and tablets
- Appointment status icons that show what still needs doing at a glance
What Else Improved in July and August 2026?
Alongside the headline features, these improvements reached every clinic:
- Radiology (RIS) — tighter sync with AdvaPACS and clearer report history.
