Full Details

Yes — for healthcare providers with annual turnover of RM1 million or more. This includes GP clinics, dental practices, aesthetic centres, veterinary clinics, wellness centres, TCM clinics, physiotherapy centres, specialist clinics, and medical centres. There are no industry-specific exemptions — healthcare businesses follow the same phased rollout as all other Malaysian taxpayers, with the RM1–5 million group required to comply from 1 January 2026. Providers below RM1 million annual turnover are exempt under LHDN's updated threshold, unless they have a corporate shareholder or related company with turnover of RM1 million or more.
